The Kareem Abu-Elmagd Charitable Foundation was established to spread hope in providing free integrated health care to the people of Egypt, the Arab world, and Africa. The idea of the foundation was born after the continuous rise in the incidence of cancer and immune diseases of the digestive system among children and adults. Dr. Kareem Abu-Elmagd played a major role worldwide in advancing the field of surgical treatment for gastrointestinal failure.
Dr. Kareem Abu-Elmagd has invented many delicate gastrointestinal surgeries, the most important of which is intestinal transplantation and all kinds of abdominal viscera, in addition to intestinal reconstruction and rehabilitation.
* Establishing a center for gastrointestinal surgery and organ transplantation according to international standards to provide free health care for patients with the gastrointestinal tract, liver, cancerous tumors and related birth defects in order to serve children and adults throughout the Arab Republic of Egypt and the Middle East and Africa region.
*Establishing training programs at the highest level to build a new generation of doctors and nurses with international experience.
*Developing scientific research to increase knowledge awareness about digestive system diseases and cancer and to facilitate the innovation of various treatments and surgeries to serve society.
* Spreading awareness of the importance of preventive medicine and the impact of adherence to correct dietary habits on an individual’s life and improving the management of economics related to the health field.

The Kareem Abu-Elmagd Charitable Foundation is an Egyptian non-profit civil institution that was established in October 2017 under registration number 815 at the initiative of Dr. Karim Abu Al-Majd to transfer his experience over thirty years in gastrointestinal surgeries and organ transplantation to provide the best health care with international standards for his homeland, Egypt, and for all countries in the region.
